Hi! I'm Adrienne Fischer.
As a litigation attorney, I spent my days watching businesses tear themselves apart in courtrooms. I saw resources being wasted in emotionally charged court battles. Everybody hated paying the lawyers but wanted to be vindicated. The same preventable problems, over and over.
My breaking point came when I realized the businesses that thrived were different.
They thought ahead. They treated legal structure like financial planning, as something that enabled growth, not something that got in the way.
The problem isn't that business owners lack good instincts. It's that we've been conditioned to treat legal work as an afterthought. "Focus on revenue first, worry about structure later, wait until you're bigger to get serious about protection."
We're done with that approach.
When I moved to Colorado and started Basecamp Legal, I flipped everything.
Instead of cleaning up messes, we prevent them. Instead of reacting when things break, we help you think through consequential decisions while heads are calm and options are open.
